Simon Kelly is a qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Trainer, having recently graduated from the Institute of Mindfulness Based Approaches’ 18month training program. He has been practicing of mindfulness and meditation for over twenty years.
He is also currently undertaking a two year Master’s degree program at Dublin City University in Education and e-Learning. His thesis will focus on the place of mindfulness in our new, digital environment.
In 2011 he completed the building of The SilverMine in rural Wexford, which serves both as a home to himself, his wife and two young children, and as a residential venue for courses in mindfulness, yoga and related disciplines. The building of The SilverMine took several years and was a labour of love. The house has panoramic views of Bannow Bay, and provides Simon with the facilities to introduce, explore and deepen the practice of mindfulness with others, for which he is always grateful.
