Hi I am a Teacher of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). In June 2015 I completed a training course, run over 18 months, with the Institute of Mindfulness Based Approaches (IMA).
I have been practicing meditation for 20 years and I first became interested in Mindfulness in 2010. I have experienced many benefits in my personal life from practicing Mindful Meditation and I believe Mindfulness can benefit anyone, at any age and at any stage in life.
I run my 8-week MBSR courses in Mount Merrion, Co Dublin and I offer one-to-one sessions as well in my psychotherapy practice in Blackrock, Co Dublin.
I have 15 years’ experience as a counsellor/psychotherapist, working with a wide range of issues with individuals, couples and teenagers. I provide a confidential and safe space for clients as they unravel their difficulties and discover their own unique way of dealing with life’s challenges, whatever they may be, big or small. As they gain awareness and understanding I support them, with compassion and understanding, through any changes they may choose to make.
I work in a friendly and professional manner and am dedicated to my own continued professional development.
